This week Martin looks at the reaction to Google mapping UK wireless routers; Lee discusses good virtual neighbours in Christchurch and Sean suggests the US Limewire court case marks the beginning of the end for peer to peer file sharing Judge David Harvey came in to speak at the latest NetSafe Spotlight meeting on Wednesday this week and his presentation on the topic of copyright and illegal downloaders provoked some lengthy debate amongst the 40 or so people who attended in our Auckland office and via video conference from Wellington. Today the Minister of Commerce, Hon Simon Power announcedthat Copyright Act working group had reported back with their recommendations on how to deal with Internet Copyright infringement.
