The activation of a high level Child Abuse Imagery filter almost certainly changes the cyber safety landscape. Recently, a few internet commentators have noticed this internet filtering project at the DIA. The DIA whose responsibilities include making sure that New Zealand’s censorship legislation is enforced have been running a trial of a very high level filtering system. The aim of this filter is to block access to Child sexual abuse images . |
