The activation of a high level Child Abuse Imagery filter almost certainly changes the cyber safety landscape. In our role as cyber safety community coordinator, we need to get a better handle around what those changes will actually be.

Recently, a few internet commentators have noticed this internet filtering project at the DIA. The DIA whose responsibilities include making sure that New Zealand’s censorship legislation is enforced have been running a trial of a very high level filtering system.
